Head Gosgeokadastra in Zhytomyr region detained for bribery

ZHITOMIR-KIEV. June 15. UNN. Chief of the district Department of Gosgeokadastr Zhytomyr region detained for bribery in 3.3 thousand dollars, reports UNN citing the press service of procuratory Zhytomyr region.

According to the press service, the official demanded a bribe from a resident of the district for a positive decision in the matter of allotment of land for agricultural purposes.

The officer arrested today. Now the question on election to it measures of restraint.

“The Prosecutor’s office of Zhytomyr region performs procedural management in criminal proceedings on the fact of extortion of illegal benefit by the head of Department to Gosgeokadastr Zhytomyr region, on signs of a crime under part 3 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine”, – reported in Prosecutor’s office.
