Group of extortionists arrested in a café in Nikolaev

KIEV. July 3 and UNN. On-site café in Nikolaev militiamen detained the organized criminal group of extortionists suspected of committing serious crimes. This is reported by UNN with reference to the Department of communication of the police of the Nikolaev area.

“On Monday, 3rd July, in Nikolaev in the territory of the cafe, located near the intersection of Central Avenue and street Road, field investigators of special forces on fight against organized crime of the SBU in the Nikolaev area fighters of the SBU special forces “alpha” together with investigators of the main Directorate of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region under the procedural leadership of regional Prosecutor’s office detained an armed organized criminal group”, – stated in the message.

Earlier judged locals for the extortion of 200 thousand UAH from the local resident under the pretext of a nonexistent debt is detained as article 208 Criminally-the procedural code of Ukraine. The question about the message to the detainees about suspicion under part 3 of article 189 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (extortion associated with violence dangerous for life or health of the victim, or such that caused property damage in large sizes) and election of a measure of restraint.

Now on the scene working law enforcement officers. Detainees found weapons, which will focus on the study. Also conducted a number of searches.

As reported UNN, June 30, participants of criminal group of militants in the Donetsk region, was accused of banditry.
