GPU combined production against Ivanyushchenko one

The Prosecutor General’s office joined the criminal proceedings against the ally of Viktor Yanukovych of Yury Ivanyushchenko one. They said that they will take all legal measures to arrest, imposed on the property Ivanyushchenko has been saved. About it reports a press-service GPU.

The Department on investigation of crimes committed by criminal organizations, conducted pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on suspicion Ivanyushchenko in committing crimes under part 3 of article 27 and part 5 of article 191, part 3 of article 368-2 of the criminal code, noted in GPU.

During the investigation of criminal proceedings on 29 December 2014 Ivanyushchenko is reported about suspicion in Commission of crime under part 3 St. 27 part 5 of article 191 of the criminal code on the fact of organization of embezzlement of public funds in especially large sizes in the amount of about 177 million UAH. The crime was committed when the contracts between GP and state ecoinvestment, OOO Capacitances. Also in this case Ivanyushchenko is suspected of obtaining illegal benefit in especially large sizes, in the amount of about UAH 650 million (part 3 of article 368-2 of the criminal code of Ukraine).

“In this case we are talking about the theft of the Kyoto money allocated for the overhaul of the 38 social sector facilities in Luhansk region, i.e. in the settlements on the territory of which public authorities temporarily do not exercise their powers. So while it is impossible to conduct the required legal proceedings, including examinations, for the completion of the investigation of criminal proceedings on this fact”, – is told in the message of the GPU.

Besides, the management of the GPU pre-judicial investigation in criminal proceedings on suspicion Ivanyushchenko in committing crimes under part 2 of article 28, part 3 of article 189, part 3 of article 27 part 3 of article 358 of the criminal code.

The GPU reported that during the investigation of criminal proceedings on 27 September 2016 Ivanyushchenko and the other two persons reported suspected of committing crimes under part 2 of article 28, part 3 of article 189, part 3 of article 27 part 3 of article 358 of the criminal code. We are talking about the fact of the organization of extortion on preliminary arrangement by group of persons share in the authorized Fund of OOO wholesale trade, which caused material damages to the victims on a large scale. Also in this case the investigated organization of the signing, on preliminary arrangement by group of persons of forged documents.

On 2 March the European Union decided to extend sanctions against Yanukovych and his entourage for another year, but also decided to lift sanctions against Ivanyushchenko.

February 28, Lutsenko saidthat Ukraine’s Supreme court without notice to the Prosecutor General’s office decided to close all cases against Ivanyushchenko. The Supreme court shifted the blame for the closure on Ivanyushchenko to the Prosecutor General’s office.
