France proposes to discuss the regulation of bitcoin at the G20 summit
The summit of “Big twenty” will be held in April
French Finance Minister called to discuss the regulation of virtual currency bitcoin at the G20 summit in 2018. It is reported by the European Pravda Reuters.
“I’m going to offer the next country that holds the presidency of the G20, Argentina to the G20 summit in April, we discussed the issue of currency bitcoin – said Bruno Le Mayor. – There is an obvious risk of speculation. We must consider and analyze this question and see how we do with all other members of the G20 can regulate bitcoin”.
Recall, the price of bitcoin has increased more than 1,700 percent since the beginning of the year, prompting fears that the market may collapse.
On 15 December the EU States agreed on stricter rules to prevent money laundering and financing of terrorism on the stock exchanges for bitcoin and other virtual currencies.
17 December the price of bitcoin reached $19 000.
