The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin considers “dangerous gamble” organization occupying Crimea authorities of the arrival of a group of German children on the Peninsula. He wrote about this in his Twitter.
“The Kremlin’s propagandists brought to the occupied Crimea German children. Due to the lack of consular and insurance protection is a very dangerous gamble. The organizers should be held accountable, ” wrote Klimkin.
Consul General of Ukraine in Munich Yuri Yarmilko demanded from the mayor of Augsburg to respond to the incident with students. This is stated in the message of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Munich in Facebook.
They announced that German children used the “propaganda of the Kremlin projects in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine”.
Earlier, Russian media reported that on March 27 at the airport of Simferopol were 17 students from Germany to participate in “Days of Russian-German children’s folk diplomacy”.
Russia has occupied the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in 2014 year. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine officially declared on 20 February 2014 beginning of the temporary occupation of Crimea and Sevastopol by Russia. Key international organizations, including the UN General Assembly has condemned Russia’s actions and called the annexation and occupation of Crimea illegal. Against Russia were imposed economic sanctions. For the implementation by Moscow of the so-called elections with the participation of the Crimea in 2016-m to year the Parliament of Ukraine recognized the Russian state Duma is illegitimate.
