For 2017 the police seized 2.2 thousand units of the weapon: infographics

The National police in the first nine months of 2017 seized from illegal circulation 2,200 firearms. About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of internal Affairs.

“During this period 7110 documented cases of illegal trafficking of weapons. And that’s 39% more than in 2016,” – said interior Minister Arsen Avakov.

The Minister noted that installed 1.7 times more involved in illicit trafficking in arms, and this 5185. While in 2016 this figure amounted to 2953 people.

21 October 2017 in Kiev, the police detained the man, who was walking with a gun to the rally at the Verkhovna Rada.
