Fatal accident in Kharkov, the court extended the arrest Zaitseva
The possibility of bail is not provided
The Kharkiv court extended for another 2 months a measure of restraint in form of detention for the main suspect in the Commission of a fatal accident in Kharkov, the 20-year-old Elena Zaitseva.
The corresponding decision was announced by the judge of the Kiev regional court of Kharkov Svetlana Muratova, reports Hromadske.
“The prosecution requests for extension of remand Zaitseva custody meet,” said the judge.
Zaitseva will be in prison until February 10, 2018, inclusive.
The judge did not foresee the possibility of bail Zaitseva.
In addition, the preliminary investigation on the case about the accident in the Kharkiv has been extended to February 14.
Recall, October 18, at nine o’clock in the evening on one of the Central streets of Kharkov there was a terrible accident – SUV Lexus RX 350, at the wheel which was 20-summer Elena Zaitseva, collided with the Volkswagen Touareg and rammed the crowd of people standing at the crosswalk.
As a result of incident five people were killed on the spot, another six were hospitalized. Later one of the injured died in hospital.
13 Dec Elena Zaitseva pleaded guilty in a deadly accident in Kharkiv and asked for pardon from the victims.
