Events in Odessa against the Governor Skoryk little evidence
Uncategorized May 24, 2017The Prosecutor failed to collect evidence to prosecute the former head of the Odessa regional state administration Mykola Skoryk for the events in Odessa 2014. This was stated by Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko, answering in Parliament on the question of MP Skorik on the investigation of events in Odessa, the correspondent of LIGA.net.
“During the investigation of events in Odessa, we, unfortunately, failed to find enough evidence to bring you to justice. You pointed out an insufficient number of witnesses. But your Deputy is already on trial for beating peaceful demonstrators, than you quietly watched from the window of his Governor’s office,” he said.
May 2, 2014 in Odessa, during the riots killed 48 people, 247 suffered.
