“Rennes” beat “Arsenal” in the first match of 1/8 finals of the Europa League.
The gunners opened the scoring in the fourth minute after hitting Alex Iwobi.
In the 41st minute for the second yellow card of the guests got Sokratis papastathopoulos and was forced to leave the field.
After that, Benjamin, Burigo equalized. And in the 65th minute own goal was struck by Nacho Monreal.
In the end, the French club held another goal – scored by Senegalese Ismaila Sarr.
The return match will be held in London at the Emirates stadium on 14 March.
