From Shibukawa Park in the Japanese Prefecture of Okayama on August 3, fled a 35-year-old giant tortoise named Abu. It is reported by meduza.io.

According to employees, 55-pound turtle freely walked through the Park, and only at night was in a cage.

As shown by the records from surveillance cameras, Abu just came through the main entrance of the Park.

A few days after the disappearance, the Park announced a reward of 500 thousand yen for any information on Abu.

The turtle was found on 16 August. She was sitting in the bushes 140 metres from the fence of the Park. The zoo said that this is the second escape Abu for the last month.
