European network of organizations monitoring elections (ENEMO) will be placed in Ukraine 48 320 long-term and short-term observers for the upcoming presidential elections
This was discussed at a press conference in UNIAN.
In particular, the event ENEMO presented their plans to observe the presidential elections which will be held March 31, 2019.

According to the ENEMO head of mission Zlatko Vujovic, a European network of organizations monitoring elections has accredited 48 long-term observers and 10 members of the core team for the presidential election.
He noted that on February 21 in different regions of Ukraine will be placed 24 teams, each will consist of two long-term observers.
“European network of organizations monitoring elections operates in full compliance with international standards of election observation. We will place our observers in order to contribute to a more transparent electoral process in Ukraine. All ENEMO observers have signed the code of conduct for international election observers. The objectivity, impartiality and accuracy of the information collected by our observers, are the main priorities of ENEMO network,” said Vujovic.
He also added that due to monitoring and reporting on important aspects of election administration ENEMO aims to ensure the free expression of voters.
“All the reports and findings of the ENEMO, which will be presented to the public, will be based on the evidence and the conclusions of observers on the ground, where they focus on the work of electoral bodies, registered candidates, electoral campaigning, complaints and appeals related to the elections and other issues “related to the elections”, – said Vujovic.
As noted by the Deputy chief of mission Theodore Pop Traikov, ENEMO works in close cooperation with domestic and international observation missions, the monitoring method which meets international standards.
“We will meet with various stakeholders and representatives of civil society and the media to get a more comprehensive picture of the electoral process,” she said.
In turn, the head of public relations and logistics ENEMO May Milicich said: “It 11 the ENEMO mission in Ukraine. ENEMO started its activities in January with the arrival of the core team members to Kyiv. On election day, ENEMO plans to place in the whole 320 short-term observers for both rounds to monitor the opening of polling stations, voting and counting of votes and transmission protocols “.
