Enemies of the people: the Russians hostile to the Russian country – poll

Most hostile to Russia countries according to its citizens are USA, Ukraine, Germany, Latvia and Lithuania. This is evidenced by the results of a survey by the Levada center.

In the “top 10” unfriendly countries, according to the survey, also included Poland, Estonia, great Britain, Georgia and France.

In the published data sociologists indicate similar results, starting in 2006.

At the same time, the most “close friends”, the Russians called Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Syria and India.

The survey was conducted on 19 – 22 may 2017 on a representative nationwide sample of urban and rural population among 1600 people aged 18 years and older in 137 localities of the 48 regions of the country. The study is conducted in the home of Respondent by personal interview. Distribution of answers given in percentage of the total number of respondents, together with data from previous surveys. The statistical error in the sample of 1600 people (with probability 0.95) does not exceed: 3.4 per cent for indicators close to 50%; 2.9% for indicators close to 25% / 75%; 2.0% for indicators close to 10% / 90%; 1.5% for indicators close to 5% / 95%.
