“Guido really an impostor, and that no doubt neither moral nor legal points of view. In accordance with the Venezuelan Constitution, the President takes the oath in the National Assembly or the Supreme court, not in the town square,” — said in the message.

As pointed out by diplomats, the legitimate President Nicolas Maduro, in contrast, Guido, was elected in an open election campaign, “getting in the presidential election of 20 may 2018 to more than 6 million votes.”

“Talking about rigging — it’s just not possess real information about the situation in Venezuela. Moreover, if Guido really considers himself the legitimate President, then why was he in 30 days not convened the corresponding election, as provided in article 233 of the Constitution?” — added in the Embassy.

Diplomats recalled “the continued willingness of the Bolivarian government to dialogue with the opposition, which, unfortunately, can not yet free himself from the clutches of the Washington hawks”.

Earlier, Guido said he intends to return to Venezuela on March 4. The White house has threatened to answer in the case of attempts to interfere with the safe return of Guido.
