Venezuela CEC announced the victory of the incumbent President, who won about 70% of the vote. Thus, Maduro secured a tenure as President of Venezuela until 2025.

The US immediately recognized the legitimacy of Guido. Nicolas Maduro responded by breaking diplomatic relations with the United States. He gave the American diplomats 72 hours to leave the country.
