Drunk driver knocked down two pedestrians in Kharkov

KIEV. March 20. UNN. In the Moscow district of Kharkov there was a traffic accident that killed two pedestrians. About it UNN reported in a press-service of police in Kharkiv region.

Yesterday, 19 March at 18:05 on the Jubilee prospect, 42, occurred dorozhno-transport incident.

It is established that 30-the summer driver of the car “Mercedes”, moving according to the prospectus of the Jubilee from the street Guardsmen shironintsev in the direction of the Avenue Lev Landau, made arrival on two pedestrians – a man and a woman. Suffered from the received traumas has died on a scene. At the same time, the car “Volkswagen” under control of 44-the summer driver who moved in the counter direction, has made arrival on the dead woman.

After checking the driver of the car “Mercedes” at the methadone clinic found that he was drunk.

The identity of the pedestrian, but also the circumstances and causes of accidents are investigated by law enforcement authorities.

The incident brought in eRDR under part 3 St. 286 (violation of traffic safety or transport operation by the persons operating vehicles) the Criminal code of Ukraine. The sanction of article provides till 10 years of imprisonment.
