KIEV. 26 Feb. UNN. The passengers of the bus, which was stopped by the police at the entrance to Odessa, went to the city for possible provocations during the so-called peaceful protests. For this the organizers of the trip promised to the young people 600-800 hryvnia cash rewards. It is reported by UNN with reference to the Department of communication GUNP in Odessa region.
“During the inspection the police found that 58 passengers in buses, seven of which were minors, went to Odessa for possible provocations during the so-called “peaceful protests” on the territory of our city (Odessa – ed.). According to young people, for the organizers of the trip promised them a monetary reward in the amount of 600-800 hryvnia,” – said in the message.
During urgent investigative actions, the potential participants “peaceful protests”, which established that law enforcement officers seized several guns, knives, pepper sprays and batons.
On the fact of illegal handling of weapons information included in Edrei under article 263 of the criminal code. Investigations are continuing.
“Emphasize that the specified event does not in any way connected with the election process on the territory of Odessa region”, – said the head of GUNP Dmitry Golovin.
