Department head of the Odessa regional state administration will be tried for bribery

KIEV. June 6. UNN. The indictment against the head of the Department of civil protection, defense and interaction with law enforcement bodies of the Odessa regional state administration sent to the court. The official is suspected of receiving 75 thousand UAH of illegal benefit for the promotion of entrepreneurship. This is reported by UNN citing the press-service of military Prosecutor’s office the southern region of Ukraine.

“02.05.2017 year the investigative Department of the military Prosecutor of the southern region of Ukraine completed pre-trial investigation and sent to court indictment against the head of the Department of civil protection, defense and interaction with law enforcement bodies of the Odessa regional state administration”, – stated in the message.

We will remind that on March 28, 2017 officers of the military Prosecutor of the southern region of Ukraine in cooperation with special forces “To” management of SBU in Odessa region, the above officials was exposed when receiving the second part of illegal benefit in the amount of 50 thousand UAH.

He received 75 thousand UAH. for assistance in the conduct of business. To the detainee it is reported about suspicion in Commission of crime under part 2, article 369-2 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (abuse of influence).

To it threatens till 5 years of imprisonment.
