She reported about it in Facebook. “In preparation for the meeting with relatives of prisoners of war sailors, which will be held on January 10 in Odessa city, today held an interagency meeting with the participation of Deputy Minister of defence of Ukraine Anatoly Petrenko, the Deputy Minister of justice and Commissioner for the European court for human rights Ivan Lisina, head of the joint coordination center for search, the release of illegally detained persons, hostages and locate missing persons in the area of ATO Yuri Kochanov, Deputy Director of the consular Department and head of the consular provision of the foreign Ministry Vasily Kirilich”, – she wrote.
According to Denisova, the meeting was also attended by the coordinator of the group of lawyers defending prisoners of sailors, Nikolai Polozov.
The main theme of the meeting, said the Ombudsman was to coordinate the work of Central bodies of Executive power to release prisoners of war.
“We agreed on the General concept of the meeting with the relatives of the sailors in Odessa. Also discussed a possible visit to a court session on election of 24 Ukrainian prisoners of war measure, which will take place in the second half of January in Moscow”, – she added.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on the morning of November 25, Russia blocked the passage in the Kerch Strait the Ukrainian tugboat “Yana Kapu” and boats “Berdyansk” and “Nikopol”, which carried out a planned transition from Odessa to Mariupol.
When you exit the Kerch Strait, the Russian ships opened fire on the Ukrainian ships, which were returning to Odessa, and have not received information about the possibility of crossing the Strait. The invaders captured Ukrainian soldiers 24. Three of them were injured.
The Ukrainians were accused of illegally crossing the border of the Russian Federation (part 3 article 322 of the Russian criminal code, the punishment of deprivation of liberty for a term up to six years). All the prisoners were arrested the so-called “court” in the Crimea, after which they were sent to a Moscow jail “Lefortovo” and “sailor’s silence”.
