Defendant in “case 2 may” and the Odessa separatists will exchange for the hostages of militants
The court overturned the arrest of Eugene Nefedova and the creators of “Odessa national Republic”
Primorsky district court of Odessa has cancelled the arrest of one of the defendants in the criminal proceedings on the fact of events 2 may 2014 in Odessa (in terms of events in the Greek area) Russian Evgeny Nefedovo. About it reports Interfax-Ukraine.
“The preventive measure was removed for further exchange [Nefedova] at the Ukrainian military personnel and other persons illegally detained on the territory of the criminal groups”, – told in Prosecutor’s office.
Local newspaper “Duma” with reference to own sources in law enforcement also reports that in addition to Nefedova Odessa courts overturned the arrests of four veterans of the war in Afghanistan, which is accused of attempt of creation so-called “Odessa national Republic” and attempted murder of people’s Deputy Alexey Goncharenko, the suspect in the attack on the street Zhukovsky (the car explosion in the center of Odessa in July 2017) and former paratrooper, “who is accused of recruiting terrorists and child molesting”. According to sources, the exchange will be the organizers of a series of attacks from volunteer centres and the building of management of SBU.
According to “Duma”, another person involved in “case 2 may” Sergei Dolzhenkov exchange refused and remains in jail.
Earlier, the leaders of the militants Zaharchenko and Carpentry after a conversation with Putin ordered to prepare for the exchange of prisoners with Kiev. The militants must release the 74 hostages in exchange for 306 detained in Ukraine separatists.
