Damaged during the protests of “yellow jackets” of the arc de Triomphe in Paris closed
KIEV. 2 Dec. UNN. The authorities have decided to close the arc de Triomphe in Paris on Sunday, December 2, due to the damage the object had received during the protests. About this on Twitter said the head of the Centre for national monuments Philip Belval, informs UNN.
According to him, specialists of the center will work to ensure that as soon as possible to open the monument. They made inscriptions on the monument and entered the premises of the Museum located inside the arch, where damaged statues and caused other material damage.
As previously reported UNN, last weekend in France, resumed mass protests of the “yellow jackets” against the increase in gasoline prices. Clashes on the Champs Elysees lasted from morning until late at night. According to the interior Ministry, in 1619 the demonstration was attended by 106 thousand people, while 130 people were arrested, 42 of them in Paris.
