D. Firtash’s lawyers appealed to the ECHR verdict on his extradition

KIEV. 22 Feb. UNN. The team of lawyers who protects the Ukrainian billionaire Dmitry Firtash, will appeal against in the Supreme court of Austria and in the European court of human rights decision on his extradition is handed down on Tuesday, February 21, the Supreme land court of Vienna. This is stated in a statement released by the lawyer of Dmitry Firtash, former Minister of justice of Austria Dieter Bendorfer, reports UNN with reference to Deutsche Welle .

“Today’s decision of the Supreme land court of Vienna on the abolition of the court of first instance which refused an extradition of Firtash, which is unexpected. We will take the necessary steps to appeal this verdict, as in the corresponding courts of Austria and of the ECHR, ” – said D. Bendorfer.

As reported UNN, the Austrian police arrested Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Firtash, when he left the court in Vienna after the meeting at which the judge actually allowed his extradition to the United States.
