Customs officers in Odessa region exposed in the “grey” scheme of legalization of the car

ODESSA-KIEV. April 3. UNN. Employees of SB of Ukraine together with the Prosecutor, with the assistance of the internal security of the state financial service and border guards have exposed workers of the Odessa customs on the organization of “grey” schemes of legalization of the cars. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the press center of the SBU.

Law enforcement authorities established that four customs officers from February of the current year with prior agreement with traders and appraisers of property made out imported cars at a price much lesser than the market. According to this scheme since February attackers in Ukraine has imported more than four hundred cars.

From this transaction the state budget monthly lost more than thirteen million. During searches in the offices of the customs service, the offices of businessmen and experts are employees of SB of Ukraine seized documents, print, foreign and Ukrainian companies, electronic media showing the transaction when making foreign cars.

Open criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 364 of the Criminal code of Ukraine. Proceed urgent quickly-investigative actions.
