Chosen semi-finalists of ice hockey world championship

KIEV. May 19. UNN. On the world hockey championship, which takes place in Cologne and Paris, and passed four quarterfinal meetings of the tournament, reports UNN with reference to the International ice hockey Federation.

Team Canada defeated team Germany (2: 1), Sweden beat Switzerland (3: 1), the Russians defeated the Czechs (3: 0), and the Finns defeated the Americans (2: 0).

On the basis of these games decided the semi-final pairings:
Canada — Russia
Sweden — Finland.

Add that to the semi-final bout will take place on 20th may on the ice in Cologne.
