Tbilisi city court has sentenced to four years of imprisonment of the brother of first lady Maki Chichua – Michael Mgaloblishvili, reports “Georgia Online”.
Mgaloblishvili found guilty of illegal purchase, possession and carrying of firearms. To date, he was imprisoned for four months.

In February 2010, he once again caught up in drugs, and in may 2011 Mgaloblishvili was sentenced to 17 years in prison for “attempt of murder, committed by a group of persons”, but in 2015 pardoned by presidential decree.
He Mgaloblishvili, fascinated by painting, said in court that he planned to use the disassembled weapon parts to create installations.
According to the lawyer, are now negotiating with the Prosecutor and the court to achieve procedural agreement that could change the verdict.
