Blinkova defeated Vandevej at the start of the WTA tournament in the Bronx

Russian Anna Blinkova won a crushing victory over American Coco Vandevej in the first round match of the tournament the Women’s tennis Association (WTA) in the Bronx.

The meeting lasted 1 hour and 2 minutes and ended with the score 6:3, 6:0.

In the next round Blinkova will play the winner of the confrontation between German Laura Siegemund and Romanian as well as for men Buzarnescu.

Previously, Anastasia Potapova came out in the second round of the WTA tournament in the Bronx.
