Because of the accident on the gas pipeline suspended the gas flow from Bulgaria to Greece

The flow of gas from Bulgaria to Greece was suspended because of the accident on the pipeline in the area of gas metering station “Kulata”, reports “Interfax” with reference to “Bulgartransgaz”.
The accident occurred due to the fact that one section of the pipeline burst, its already insulated and has started emergency repair work. As a result of incident nobody has suffered.
In “Gazprom export” commented : “Gazprom export” aware of the situation on the gas pipeline from Bulgaria to Greece and is in constant contact with their partners. The company is waiting for the Bulgarian side information about the timing of completion of repairs.”
Through Bulgaria to Greece receives Russian gas supply via the gas pipeline “Turkish stream”. The country also receives natural gas from Turkey, and also in the form of LNG via Revithoussa LNG terminal DESFA company.
