Once around the winner of the national selection for Eurovision 2019 MARUV scandal because of her scheduled concerts in Russia, the network found a photo from new year party in Sochi 2014, the year with the participation of Jamala.
The singer, who brought Ukraine the victory at the evrokonkurs in 2016-m to year, have to say about these performances of “treason”, for which she allegedly did not have the right to ask the contestants “Whose Crimea?”. Tabloid appealed for review to the PR-Director Jamala, Denis Kozlovsky.
“We have repeatedly asked for comment on the matter. I personally commented on this 2 years ago,” he said.

“Jamal has twice appeared in Russia in 2014, once in Moscow and once in Sochi. We have in the team had a discussion – what do we do with the already confirmed concerts: to cancel, referring to changed circumstances, or to fulfill obligations to the organizers,” – said the representative of Jamala.
“Jamal thought that this force majeure, we must decline. Management, including myself, believed that we have obligations because neither the organizers nor the customers nor the audience not to blame for what is happening,” – said Kozlovsky.
“As a result, it was decided to work out the confirmed concerts and new offers not to take. These were our last performances in Russia. After 31 December 2014, the year Jamal did not give any public or private concerts and have not participated in festivals in Russia”, – summed up Denis.
As reported, on February 23 at the national selection for Eurovision 2019 won the singer MARUV. She should represent Ukraine at the Eurovision song contest in Israel in may 2019.
But after criticism in her address due to the fact that she had previously traveled to perform in Russia and has scheduled concerts in April, the NOTE said that will decide on the representative of Ukraine at the Eurovision song contest for 48 hours.
Today MARUV said that it put pressure on to force to refuse participation in the Eurovision song contest. She also assured that they were ready to abandon the performances in Russia.
