In Ukraine, two tankers “Niagara” and “Boryslav”, owned by Russian company “Volga-don ship Agency”, was sold for 10.1 million hryvnia (about $392 million) from the auction, according to Ukrainian consulting “Centre of transport strategies” , citing data from the electronic trading system of the seized property “SETS” of July 31.
For tanker oil tanker “Borislav” competed nine participants who made more than 30 rates. As a result, the price rose from 1,444 million hryvnia to 5,113 million.
For chemical tanker Niagara for eight hours fought five contenders. The price rose from 2,475 million up to 5,012 million.
Earlier both ships belonged to the Russian company “Volga-don ship Agency” from Volgograd.
The tankers were arrested by the State Executive service of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine on the decision of Economic court of the Kherson region due to the fact that the company had not paid was in Istanbul, the company Cye Petrol Tic Ltd Sti compensation for payment of court fees in the amount of 40 thousand dollars.

In July it was reported that the Ukrainian authorities put up for auction by the Russian ship “Sibirskiy 2112” arrested in Odessa region, with a starting price of more than 12.5 million. On the website SETS says that the auction is scheduled for August 21.
The ship was built in Finland in 1981 and registered in the port of Taganrog. The ship’s length is 123.7 m, width – 15,6 m. Board Height – 6 m. gross tonnage of ship – 3747 t, the net capacity – 1122, etc
At the time of inspection the ship was in a disassembled state that is unsuitable for further use. It requires a major overhaul.
The arrest of the vessel was imposed on the basis of the decision of Ilyichevsky office of the Executive service of the Ministry of justice in the Odessa region on 1 June 2016.
