Ukrainian Anastasiya Merkushyna commented on her performance in mass start at world Cup stage in Ruhpolding.
Merkushin in his 23rd birthday took 12 th place, with one penalty.
“Was so heavy the race that I just did not have enough physically to finish. Have played well.
Of course, I wanted to stay in the top ten, but I did everything I could today. The first rounds I’m always going bad, and then there was the ragged pace of the group. So try not to twitch and to go at your pace – not to catch up but also to keep up.
Regarding penalties, I can say that, probably, hurried up, made a wrong move a muscle. Then I looked, what go, tried just work.
Glad I finally did two clean racks. If you make a summary at the races in Ruhpolding, I think that feet is best held independents. And desire when I wanted to rant and rave, the relay race was the best.”
