All 74 hostages are already on the territory controlled by Ukraine – Poroshenko

KIEV. 27 Dec. UNN. 74 all Ukrainian hostages released from captivity in the Donbas are already controlled by the Ukrainian army territory. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Twitter, reports UNN.

“74 all Ukrainian hostages are already home, our army controlled territory,” he said.

We will remind, on Donbass in two stages took place the exchange of detainees between the Ukrainian side and “DNR” with “LC“.

According to the President’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Lutsenko, General, 74 freed hostages. In particular, the side of “FSC” Ukraine has transferred 16 people, “DNR” passed 58 people. According to unconfirmed reports, ORDO went 238 transferred to the Ukrainian party people: 73 – in astronomical clock and 165 to the ORDO. Previously, agreement was reached on the transfer of 306 people, however there were certain adjustments.

In the exchange from outside “LNR” announced that a total of 75 people, which were transferred to the Ukrainian side refused the exchange of two people. Later by the “DNR” also pointed out that the two people supposedly did not want to return to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

That up to the new year and Christmas holidays should be the exchange of detainees, who called the largest, held talks on the trilateral meeting of the contact group on Donbass.

The Ukrainian side expressed readiness 27 Dec to implement the sharing scheme “306 74”. The militants also agreed to it.

The day before President Petro Poroshenko has met with relatives of prisoners. The government plans to provide assistance released from captivity.

While both the Russian and the Ukrainian side said that this is not the end and work on release held in the Donbass will continue.
