After Brexit: 60% of Britons want to retain EU citizenship
Uncategorized July 2, 201760% of Britons want to keep their citizenship in the EU after Brexit. These are the results of a survey of the London school of Economics, reports The Guardian.
Six out of ten UK citizens advocate for the preservation of EU citizenship, including the right to work, study and travel across EU countries.
“Support the preservation of rights is particularly strong among 18-24 year olds, 85% of which want to keep their EU citizenship. About 80% of people living in London, I also want to keep the same law,” the report says.
The survey polled over two thousand UK citizens.
