KIEV. July 25. UNN. City Prosecutor’s office has filed a petition for compulsory sampling of blood and hair of the driver of a Hummer who hit the girl in the center of Kiev. Wrote about this on his page in Facebook the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko, reports UNN.

According to Lutsenko, he took under personal control business about road accident with participation of the Hummer in Kiev.

“The driver was detained, took urine tests for alcohol and narcosubstance. For completeness of the analysis submitted to the court for compulsory screening of blood and hair,” he said.

The attorney General also said that prosecutors are preparing a request for the arrest of the culprit.

We will remind, road accident happened on the Boulevard Lesia Ukrainka at 22:30. As a result of the accident killed 10-year-old girl.

The investigation established that the driver of the Hummer, in flagrant disregard of the rules of the road, namely a red light, made arrival on the girl, who was crossing the road at the regulated pedestrian crossing with her mother. From traumatized 10-year-old child died in the emergency medical service carriage.

23-year-old driver was arrested near the shopping center “Parus” Mechnikova street and taken to the Kyiv city narcological clinical hospital “sociotherapy” to pass the examination on the state of alcoholic and narcotic intoxication.

Now the driver is detained. He was notified of a suspicion under part 2 of article 286 of the criminal code of Ukraine (violation of traffic rules, entailed death of the victim). Also addressed the issue of additional qualification of actions under article 135 of the criminal code (leaving in danger).
