A brace and a red card Malinowski helped “Genk” beat club Yaremchuk
KIEV. 7 APR. UNN. In the opening match of the third round of the decisive part of the championship Belgium there was a real Derby of the players of the national team of Ukraine – “Genk” Ruslan Malinovsky took “Ghent” Roman Yaremchuk, Roman Bezus and Igor Plastun, reports UNN with reference to FFU.
Malinowski and Yaremchuk appeared in the starting lineups for their teams, but the most notable player of the meeting was the Ukrainian hosts ‘ midfielder. It was his two goals (43, pen, 45 + 1) secured the “Genk” victory with the score 2:1, but on 90 + 4 minutes, Ruslan received a red card.
Bezus came on as a substitute in the 62nd minute and earned a yellow card, and Igor Plastun not included in the application for the match.
Now, having 38 points, Genk leads the standings, “Ghent”, scoring 25 points, occupies the last place in the top group.
