In Prague continued mass protests demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister
KIEV. 17 Nov. UNN. In the Czech capital Prague thousands of people gathered for a rally demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Andrew Babish on the background of the scandal with the alleged retention of his son in Russia-annexed Crimea. About it UNN reported with reference to Radio Prague.
“Thousands of people who are demanding the resignation of Andrew Babish as Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, went on Saturday in the afternoon from Hradcany to the old town square,” – said the publication.
People in Prague also came for another reason. Czech Republic November 17, celebrates the state holiday – Day of struggle for freedom and democracy, remembering the events of 1939 and 1989. From early morning people light candles and lay flowers and wreaths at the monument on Prague’s National Avenue, where on this day, in the autumn of 1989 was brutally suppressed student anti-Communist demonstration.
With a bouquet of red roses before dawn arrived at the scene and Prime Minister Andrew Babish. Flowers lay at the monument and a few hours, the activists Kaputin and Rebelové them in the morning threw it in the trash.
