Police carried out an operation in Odessa region, which is freed from the bondage of 94 people and detained 13 members of an interregional organized criminal group, engaged in labour exploitation of people.

In his words, “slaves” a few years work for free on farms in the Odessa region, which was organized by the spouses – 38-the summer citizen of Georgia and a citizen of Ukraine.
People fall into slavery by special recruiters. They worked mainly on the Railways, looking for vulnerable people, promised a job, a stable salary 450-500 USD per day, accommodation and meals.
When workers arrived at the company, they were taken documents and telephone numbers, were forced to work for free in the box 13 hours a day. Those who were outraged, bill. Recruiters received for each “slave” 500 hryvnia. Victims sought in 22 regions of Ukraine and in Kiev.

According to Knyazev, the police worked to solve the crime four months from receipt of the first information to work undercover. Malefactors were detained in the moment when they were put in the van of new victims. Two victims were hospitalized in hospital of Odessa, while others are in Kiev, are physical.
Just arrested 13 criminals. During the searches they seized weapons, vehicles, among them Mercedes and BMW and a million hryvnia cash.
In a special operation involved the staff of Management on fight against human trafficking of the police of Kiev together with the Department for combating trafficking Nacpac under the procedural management of Prosecutor’s office of Kiev.
