In the town of Savran, Odessa region unknown destroyed a wall in front of the memorial to the victims of the Holocaust. About it reports the local edition of the beacon , citing a statement by the Director of the Odessa Holocaust Museum Paul Kozlenko.

“Villains and moral monsters continue to mock the memory of Holocaust victims. The new Jewish cemetery in Savran completely destroyed the memorial to the victims of the Holocaust,” he said.

However, local police believe that no one desecrated monument, its destruction was “of old age and natural causes.”

It is noted that the Holocaust memorial in Savran established Jewish community, but now one of its members in the city remained.
