By creating a strong army: in Odessa there will be a proving ground for testing missile weapons

In the Odessa region is the polygon on which the Ukrainian military will be able to test rockets and anti-tank weapons. Officials claim that the reserve “Tuzlovsky limans” is saved.

As reported today in the press service of the Odessa regional state administration, the region will set up a special military training, allowing to test missiles, reports UNIAN.

This was at the end of a private meeting of heads of Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov with representatives of the relevant departments informed in a press-service.

The report said that journalists were not invited to the meeting, because it addressed questions that constitute a military secret.

“The Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration held a meeting on the issue of government testing ground of weapons and military equipment in the village of Tuzla tatarbunarsky area. The meeting was held without the press due to the fact that the issues that were considered a military secret,” – said in the message persley yeah.

The administration also explained that the need for the arrangement of such Poligona is that in Ukraine, in fact there is a war, so the country needs a strong army. Previously, the testing ground for missile technology nahodylsya in the Crimea, however, after the occupation makes sense to deploy it in Odessa.

At the same time Maxim Stepanov assured that the protected areas of the Odessa region, such as “Tuzlovsky limans” will be saved. And the residents adjacent to the landfill areas will be carried out explanatory work.

“It is also important to preserve the unique lands of the Odessa region, such as “Tuzlovsky limans”. No landfill in the reserve will not and cannot be. The landfill will be located elsewhere in the Tatarbunarsky area, where it will not threaten the ecology of the region”, – assured the Governor of Odessa.

Earlier it was reported about the tragic death of a radiotelephone operator on the site in Zhitomir. It was found that the soldier was killed by a grenade that was left on pulegone after preparing it for firing.
