In Montreat, North Carolina, at his home at the age of 99 years died, religious figure Billy Graham, who is considered one of the most influential preachers of the twentieth century. Graham was the pastor of the southern Baptist Convention, the largest Baptist organization in the world and the largest Protestant denomination in the United States, numbering more than 15 million members.
Graham was a spiritual Advisor to 12 U.S. presidents, starting with Harry Truman and ending with Barack Obama. In the most intimate relationship he was with Dwight Eisenhower, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon. In addition, Graham was friends with Martin Luther king.
