Makron: Turkey has little chance of joining the EU
Uncategorized January 6, 2018Turkey has no chances of progress in the negotiations on the accession to the EU. This was stated by the President of France Emmanuel macron at the meeting with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, reports BBC.
Macron believes that in light of recent events in the country and decisions that take power, it is impossible to speak about any progress. But we can consider cooperation or partnership.
Erdogan responded that Ankara was sick of waiting for the queue to join the EU and keep asking about it.
In October 2017, the Turkish President saidthat nothing will happen if the country does not become an EU member – it will just go their own way.
