In Vinnytsia region will judge the two inhabitants of Odessa for a series of attacks on financial institutions

KIEV. 4 Jan. UNN. In Vinnytsia region will judge the two inhabitants of Odessa who have committed a series of armed robberies at banking establishments in Vinnitsa and Kiev. Reports a press about it-service of Prosecutor’s office in Vinnytsia region, reports UNN.

“The Prosecutor’s office of Vinnytsia region are sent to the city court indictment against a group of persons who committed a series of robberies at financial institutions that provide credit services on the territory of Kyiv and Vinnytsia”, – stated in the message.

Pre-trial investigation found that two previously repeatedly convicted for acquisitive crimes the residents of Odessa region, during July-August 2017 penetrated into the premises of institutions which provide credit services on the territory of the above mentioned cities and threatening the use of weapons, required to give in the room money. Fearing a real use of weapons and violence the workers were given the available money.

For this “crime scenario” the attackers had committed four robberies.

Now they are awaiting trial in detention. Their actions were qualified under part 3 St. 187 (robbery) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. Article provides till 12 years of imprisonment.
