Human rights activists have reported 12 thousand cases of killings and torture in the ATO

In the East of Ukraine in a combat zone, there were 12 thousand cases of torture, murder and illegal confinement of people. This was stated by Chairman of the Board of the Helsinki group for human rights Alexander Pavlichenko, reports hromadske radio.

“There are different database that has a different number of documented crimes. The largest database confirms 12 thousand of such cases…It is, in fact, crimes against physical liberty and integrity of freedom,” he said.
