Tobacco products worth 3 million UAH were seized by the border guards of Odessa

ODESSA – KIEV. 20 Dec. UNN. The staff of the operational units of the PRU SBGS together with representatives of GFS in Odessa region withdrew a cigarette 3 million. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the press service of the Odessa border detachment.

“As a result of carrying out a complex quickly-investigative actions within the framework of pre-judicial investigation on signs of the criminal offense provided by part three of article 204 of the criminal code of Ukraine (Illegal production, storage, sale or transportation with a sales objective of excise goods) on the territory of one of the logistics companies of the city of Odessa was checked the car “MAN” which discovered cigarettes. Law enforcement officers seized 9,500 packs of cigarettes for the sum more than 3 million UAH”, – stated in the message.

These products have not been certified properly and could suffer significant harm to the life and health of the consumer. Further products are planned to sell in the domestic market of Ukraine.

As reported UNN, on the train from Volyn poles found cigarette smuggling 1.75 million.
