In the second round of the presidential elections in Chile defeated former President Sebastian Pinera. It is reported by the Santiago Times.
Pinera scored 54.51 percent of the vote. His opponent the center-left Alejandro Galero scored 45,49% of the vote.
Executive time in Chile – four years, the next election will be in 2022.
Sebastian piñera was President from 2010 to 2014. He promised the voters to create thousands of new jobs and reduce the budget deficit.
