In the UN security Council submitted a draft resolution on status of Jerusalem

To the vote of the UN security Council submitted a draft resolution, which expressed “deep disappointment the recent decision on the status of Jerusalem,” reports Deutsche Welle.

In the document, as noted, did not contain the names and countries, but it is probably a response to the announcement by US President Donald trump Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

The draft resolution was introduced by Egypt. The document contains a clause according to which all decisions on changing the status of Jerusalem have no legal weight and should be abolished. Also, the project indicated that all questions on the status of the city must be “resolved through negotiations”.

The vote on the draft resolution, expected to pass on December 18. The United States have veto power when voting in the UN security Council.
