The US has drafted a bill on assistance to Ukraine in the field of cybersecurity

“The foreign Affairs Committee of the house of representatives reviewed and recommended for approval the draft “Law 2017 on cooperation with Ukraine on issues of cyber security”,” — said in the message.
It is noted that the bill specifies that the policy of the United States is providing assistance to the Government of Ukraine in improving their own cyber security strategies.
In particular, he will act in such directions as:
— establishing the most current security updates on computers of public authorities;
— reduction of Ukraine’s dependence on Russian technology;
— promoting Ukraine’s participation in the programs of the exchange of information related to cybersecurity.
The Embassy noted that the implementation of this legislative initiative will be an important investment in Ukraine’s fight against the hybrid war of Russia.
As reported UNN, the Pentagon has allocated $ 10.4 million to support the it security in Ukraine.
