The Chicago stock exchange held first trades futures Bitcoin

KIEV. 11 Oct. UNN. Chicago Board options exchange (CBOE) conducted the first trades futures contracts on the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. Thus, the CBOE was the first trading platform working with bitcoin-futures, reports UNN with reference to DW.

Before bidding, the exchange rate amounted to 15 thousand dollars per unit, after which for some time has risen to 16,600 thousand dollars, but later the rate decreased to the level of 15,940 thousand dollars.

Shortly after the start of trading Bitcoin exchange website stopped working. After that CBOE wrote in his Twitter that the interruptions were associated with overload of the website.
