Omeljan hopes that in major cities the bus will disappear as a class
Infrastructure Minister sees the future of public transport in Ukraine in the development of electric transport
The Minister of infrastructure Vladimir Omelian predict that in the major cities of Ukraine will disappear taxis as a form of public transport. He told about it on air of TV program “Ukraine”, reports RBC-Ukraine.
According to the Minister, in large cities, taxis should disappear as a class.
“They have not meet the needs of modern society, the conditions and comfort requirements of citizens”, – said Omeljan.
The Minister hoped to replace the minibuses will come the electric.
“First of all, it’s trams, trolleybuses, buses. The future for Ukraine is a rejection of internal combustion engines and the environmentally friendly and convenient transportation,” concluded Omeljan.
We will remind, Omeljan announced the opening of a new transport route through Ukraine.
