Law enforcers not to clean up the tent city under the Council – Shkiryak
Uncategorized December 9, 2017The security forces will storm the encampment of the protesters under the Rada after the arrest of their leader, ex-Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili. This was stated by Advisor to the interior Minister Zoryan Shkiryak, voicing the official position of the Arsen Avakov in his Facebook.
“Law enforcement will refrain from any storms and any enforcement action in relation to the tent camp at BP and its temporary residents”, – he said.
He also said that “the information disseminated in the network by Pro-Russian members of the sect RNS (the movement of new forces – ed.) on the alleged attack is a fake and a blatant lie”. He emphasized that their main task is “sowing panic and whip up hysteria”.
Shkiryak reported that the security forces will act “within the laws and the Constitution, while trying to avoid aggravations and conflicts”.
At the moment near the building of the SBU, where they brought the detained former Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili, strengthen the protection of military equipment and security forces.
Yesterday, December 8, the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko saidthat deprived of the citizenship of Ukraine, ex-the Governor of Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili, was detained in Kiev and placed in a temporary detention facility.
On 5 December the Prosecutor General’s office published a video in which, according to the Ministry outlined the details of the operation to expose the financing of the activities of the leader of the movement of new forces Mikheil Saakashvili, the fugitive oligarch Sergei Kurchenko. In particular, in the video there is an audio recording of the alleged conversation, Saakashvili and Kurchenko, dated November 20, 2017.
