Ukraine handed over Albania, the PABSEC term presidency

KIEV. 30 Nov. UNN. Ukraine handed over the chairmanship in the parliamentary Assembly of the BSEC for the next six months Albania, reports UNN with reference to the information Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Concluding remarks were made by the PABSEC President, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy. He noted that Ukraine is completing its chairmanship in the BSEC, which was aimed at development of economic cooperation between the countries-members of the organization, despite an obvious crisis in the sphere of security in the region.

“For us it was a great honor to lead the BSEC organization, which has steadily demonstrated its effectiveness as a parliamentary political tool for establishing a dialogue at the regional level”, – said A. paruby.

The PABSEC President handed over the presidency for the next six months to the speaker of the Albanian Parliament.

Parubiy closed the 50th session of the General Assembly of the PABSEC.

Following the 51st meeting of the General Assembly will be held on 20-21 June 2018 in the city of Tirana in Albania.

We will remind, the General Assembly of the PABSEC adopted the Declaration, as amended of Ukraine.
