From Russia expelled the Polish historian

Of the FSB of Russia in Moscow detained a Polish historian Heinrich Hlembotski and expelled him from Russia. This was reported by the Institute of national remembrance of Poland (IPN), reports Deutsche Welle.

The historian held two public lectures on 22 and 23 November at the main office of the St. Petersburg branch of “Memorial” and the Polish Institute in St. Petersburg. He then went to Moscow, and on the exit of the train on 24 November he was detained by the FSB.

The hlembotski read out the order that he must leave Russia within days. Now the historian in Poland.

“The decision of the FSB without specifying the actual cause of the expulsion and the possibility to appeal at the same time means a ban on new entering the territory of the Russian Federation”, – is told in the message of INP.

Hlembotski assured that refused to sign the document which he has been charged by the FSB. The Russian side until the situation has not commented.

Henry Hlembotski – PhD, researcher at the Jagiellonian University. In Russia, it was November 14th – worked with archival and library materials in the field of Polish-Russian relations in the XIX and XX centuries. This study runs from 1994.
